Davis' success with her hobby soon had her going to craft shows and village festivals, handing out business cards and selling her uniquely designed necklaces and bracelets. While personally fulfilling, the craft venues did have their drawbacks. "The craft shows weren't very profitable for the amount of work," Davis recalls. "I decided it was a bit much. I wanted another venue, and a friend of mine suggested I start a web site."
